Ananya Mithal
@ananyamithal
I build clean-energy electrochemical systems and chemical engineering models.
What I'm looking for
At BPCL CRDC, I investigated electrochemical CO₂ reduction to syngas for its carbon capture and utilisation initiative, synthesising catalysts and fabricating gas diffusion electrodes for CO₂ electrolysis.
I evaluated catalyst performance through chronoamperometry, Faradaic efficiency, and product selectivity, using RGA and gas chromatography to quantify CO and H₂ yields. I also supported production quality control at Bharath Electro Chem through volumetric analysis, titrations, solution standardisation, and batch traceability.
I'm a Chemical Engineering student at MIT Manipal who also applies machine learning and process simulation to environmental and energy problems, including QSAR biodegradation prediction and fuel-cell modelling in DWSIM.
