At World Resources Institute México, I coordinate air quality projects that bring teams, plans, and actions together to support the right to breathe clean air. I also oversee the area’s financial budget and handle Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning for the Clean Air Catalyst project, including data collection, validation, and reporting processes.
At Instituto de Planeación y Gestión del Desarrollo del AMG, I integrated climate action across development planning, land-use planning, sustainable mobility, and risk management instruments. I was responsible for the greenhouse gas emissions inventory and transport-sector MRV for the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan, and coordinated a metropolitan energy-efficiency standard for buildings.
At Gobierno del Estado de Jalisco, I coordinated with organizations across levels of government and sectors to advance state and regional climate policy. This collaboration helped territorial partners strengthen institutional arrangements and technical and fundraising capacity, supporting projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and pursue ecosystem- and community-based adaptation.
Earlier, at Soma, Estrategia Socioambiental, I conducted environmental impact studies and supported a community project with informal e-waste recyclers to improve recycling practices and quality of life. I also used ArcGIS for environmental mapping and construction-waste site analysis, and received the Premio Pedro Arrupe 2015 for citizenship-building, public policy, and territory.
