Amanda Novellin
@amandanovellin
Enthusiastic grad student with a focus on criminology and research.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated graduate student currently pursuing a Master's in Homeland Security with a concentration in Intelligence Analysis at SUNY Albany. My academic journey has been enriched by my role as a Student Research Assistant, where I oversee data collection and collaborate with professors to contribute to academic publications. This experience has honed my analytical skills and deepened my understanding of research methodologies.
In addition to my research work, I teach high school students about the criminal justice system at Archangel School, where I also engage in creating marketing materials. My previous experience as an Office Assistant at St. John Fisher College allowed me to develop strong organizational and communication skills, which I continue to apply in my current roles. I am passionate about leveraging my background in criminology and sociology to influence government policy and contribute to meaningful research in the field.
