Alok Karn

I’m a third-year Computer Science student with production-grade experience building and deploying full-stack AI and backend systems independently. I’m driven by solving real constraints—especially RAG hallucination—by designing architectures that retrieve structured facts and keep answers citation-backed.

From scratch, I designed a hybrid knowledge graph + RAG pipeline that combines Neo4j, vector search, and LLM routing, then delivered it end-to-end with a FastAPI backend and Streamlit frontend—fully deployed to cloud. I also built a secure university rankings REST API with role-based access control using JWT, including normalized relational modeling and SQL JOIN query aggregation.

I’m an async-native, solo end-to-end builder who ships from problem definition to production with minimal supervision. Based in Nepal (UTC+5:45), I’m comfortable collaborating asynchronously with clear PRs, written documentation, and structured updates, and I’m actively seeking remote internship or contractor engagements in AI/backend engineering.
