Master's prepared educator collaborating with healthcare professionals to prepare student nurses in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Teaches courses including Applied Health Care Ethics, Fundamentals of Nursing, Healthy Populations, Nursing Capstone, and Community Health.

Collaboratively managing primary care and urgent care patients for vaccinations, medication injections, refills, allergy injections, tuberculin skin testing, wound care, education, and gender-affirming care. Improved allergy injection process through new order sets and documentation in eClinicalWorks.

Vascular access nurse trained to initiate, assess, and maintain central and peripheral venous access with ultrasound guidance at an inpatient regional academic health center. Collaborates with the care team to provide appropriate venous access and precepts new employees.

Perioperative nurse providing care for one to three patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting who have undergone urological, neurological, and orthopedic procedures. Provided discharge teaching and patient education, participated in chart audits, and transitioned team from paper to electronic charting.

Led a team of nurses, medical assistants, and radiology technicians in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Provided lab results, triage care in-person and telephonically, dispensed medications, and assisted physicians with procedures.

Activities and societies: Co-lead a group of Indiana University School of Nursing seniors in the didactic and clinical courses: Managing Health and Illness Across Care Environments with Dr. Kim Decker. Provided curriculum and evaluation support during the Spring 2023 semester.

Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana University, completed in May 2023. Co-led didactic and clinical courses for senior nursing students and completed coursework in instruction, curriculum, research, statistics, and healthcare informatics.
