Alice Pancaldi
@alicepancaldi
Passionate experimental physicist with expertise in materials science.
What I'm looking for
I am an experimental physicist with a PhD in materials science, specializing in the production and characterization of organic thin films and 2D materials. My academic journey has equipped me with a robust foundation in image and data analysis, particularly in the context of photovoltaic devices. I thrive in multidisciplinary environments and possess a strong aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking.
Throughout my PhD at Università di Milano-Bicocca, I have managed my own research project, utilizing advanced techniques such as vacuum-based deposition methods and atomic force microscopy. My work has led to the publication of research papers and presentations at international conferences, showcasing my ability to communicate complex scientific concepts effectively. Currently, I am expanding my expertise as a visiting researcher at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, where I am focused on the fabrication of hybrid heterostructures and the study of excitonic processes.
