I am an aspiring Chartered Management Accountant with practical experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciliations gained through corporate internships and a staff role. I have cleared 10 of 18 ICMAP papers and reached the managerial level of the program while completing a B.Com (Associate Degree in Commerce).

In my most recent role at Macrame Consultants (Jan 2025–Oct 2025) I managed ledgers, accounts receivable and payable, prepared periodic financial statements, reconciled bank statements, and supported budgeting and forecasting to improve financial efficiency. I also collaborated with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Earlier internship experience (Sep 2024–Dec 2024) gave me hands-on exposure to daily financial record maintenance, invoice and voucher preparation, payment scheduling, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and filing of financial documents. I worked closely with senior accountants to learn budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting processes.

I hold certifications and trainings including QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Xero ProAdvisor, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (18 CPD hours), Advanced Excel, and tax-related courses. I am motivated to contribute strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to good governance and ethical practice in a finance or accounting role.
