I’m a dedicated Registered Community Health Nurse with over 6 years of experience in managing high-acuity patient loads, maintaining strict aseptic techniques, and assisting in surgical procedures. I bring a strong data collection and analysis mindset, pairing clinical care with accurate documentation to support better patient prognosis.

In my current role as a Nurse/Research Assistant, I collect and record study data in compliance with SOPs using Android-based systems, conduct facility and home follow-ups, and manage information using REDCap and ODK. I also obtain venous blood samples from mothers and infants, support PMTCT program adherence to care protocols, and prepare weekly reports to keep study operations running smoothly. Previously, I served as a scrub nurse at Kenyatta National Hospital across orthopaedic, vascular, and general surgery, monitoring vital signs and supporting medication administration, care planning, and recovery; earlier, in a Medical Surgical Ward with a 70-bed caseload, I contributed to an 80% reduction in readmission rate through individualized care planning and patient education.
