Alex Lohinov

I’m a Product Designer with experience designing B2B SaaS, web, and mobile products, with a particular focus on complex workflows, information architecture, interaction design, and design systems.

At Koncepta, I worked as the sole designer on a maritime procurement and inventory SaaS product, designing it from scratch and defining its information architecture and core workflows, including vessel creation and supply setup. I also worked on document management, team collaboration, and backup flows for a spreadsheet product, contributed to a CrossFit mobile app redesign, and collaborated closely with developers through implementation and release.

Before that, at OptiHint, I worked across UX, UI, user research, product testing, website redesign, and reusable website templates.

Outside of commercial work, I’m designing and developing Bind, an independent media and reference management product for organizing links, images, videos, files, and notes in one workspace. Building my own product gives me hands-on experience with the entire product lifecycle, from defining product logic and workflows to designing the interface and implementing it with React and TypeScript.

I have a software engineering background and enjoy working closely with engineering teams, prototyping ideas, testing solutions, and refining products based on feedback. I’m especially interested in B2B SaaS, productivity tools, developer tools, design systems, AI-assisted products, and products with complex underlying logic.

Outside of work, I enjoy books, cinema, video games, writing detailed reviews, exploring new product ideas, fitness, and spending time with animals—especially cats.
