At CANCOM Czech Republic s.r.o., I develop microservices that process electricity metering data. I designed and implemented gap-filling for missing readings using standard load profiles, covering hundreds of thousands of metering points.
I also wrote SQL migration scripts for partition-related key changes across differing schemas, validated them on three restored backups, and built a RabbitMQ export of industrial meter data. I migrated a service to .NET 10 with backward-compatible contracts so consuming microservices could migrate independently.
At CTS Trade IT a.s., I delivered a regulatory report end-to-end, including Excel export, and validated its output with analysts and economists. I also optimized SQL Server queries for heavily used reports by indexing and rewriting queries.
Before moving into .NET development, I worked on building-energy simulations and managed a university research project on indoor thermal comfort. I also built ChatApp, a real-time SignalR chat app on Soft Platforms, where caching cut database queries by about 70%.
