Akinfusika Akinsulire

At Reliance Infosystems, I lead enterprise cybersecurity and data privacy engagements across enterprise and public-sector clients. I translate evolving data protection law into defensible technical controls, from executive briefings and architecture design through deployment, enablement, and capability building.

I pioneered Reliance Infosystems’ data privacy practice and established its first formal advisory offering on African data protection regulation, anchored by Botswana’s Data Protection Act 2024. I also stood up the Botswana Security Operations Centre across three environments and led its 15/7 operating model.

I manage security for 10,000+ resources across endpoint, email, cloud, and phishing defence, sustaining over 95% compliance on modernisation programmes. My work includes Active Directory and Exchange modernisation, ransomware response and hardening, Sophos MSP onboarding, and training 50+ engineers and client teams.

Before leading the SADC practice, I supported Microsoft and Sophos presales, proof-of-concept delivery, Azure adoption, and endpoint deployments at Reliance. I began building my Microsoft security foundation through the Interns4Afrika programme.
