What I'm looking for

I am seeking backend or platform roles focused on distributed, event-driven systems with strong emphasis on reliability, observability, and pragmatic production engineering; opportunities for impact and learning in small, fast teams.

I am a backend engineer with 1.5+ years of production experience building distributed, event-driven systems and real-time platforms. I design and own microservice backends, WebSocket gateways, payment flows, and mobile-backed APIs with a strong focus on correctness under failure and observability.

At a home-services startup I architected an event-driven microservices backend, implemented saga-style compensation to fix payment-booking inconsistencies, and shipped user and partner mobile apps while operating production infrastructure on AWS EC2. I also built APIs with Fastify, asynchronous inter-service communication with RabbitMQ, and real-time updates with WebSockets and Redis.

I enjoy pragmatic production engineering: idempotent consumers, distributed tracing, failure simulation, and improving reliability. I hold a dual degree in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Delhi and bring practical experience across backend, real-time systems, observability, frontend, and DevOps tooling.
