I’m a Mainframe Developer and Application Support Lead with over 4 years of experience in enterprise application development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support within Insurance and Banking domains. I deliver scalable Mainframe solutions across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)—from requirement analysis and technical design to coding, testing, deployment, and post-production support—using COBOL, DB2, JCL, Easytrieve, and IMS DB/DC.

In my work, I focus on high-volume reliability through production incident analysis, root cause identification, defect resolution, and preventive maintenance to ensure high system availability. I’ve improved batch processing performance by 25% through optimization initiatives and supported a DB2 upgrade implementation with zero downtime, while coordinating with business stakeholders, support teams, and cross-functional groups. I’m also hands-on with tools like TSO/ISPF, SDSF, Endevor, Changeman, Control-M, ServiceNow, Jira, and IBM MQ Series to support release implementation, batch monitoring, job scheduling, and application performance tuning.
