What I'm looking for
I've developed complete electrochemical sensing platforms, from electrode fabrication and surface functionalisation to biological interfacing and analytical validation.
At Universitat Rovira i Virgili, I developed a rapid, low-cost tetrodotoxin assay using Neuro-2a cells cultured on ITO electrodes. This work was published in Toxins (2025) as an alternative to the mouse bioassay.
I've built conductive surfaces and microelectrode arrays for simultaneous electrochemical and optical readout, and established direct electrical contact with living microalgae using conductive polymers and graphene quantum dots. My work includes sensitivity, selectivity, stability and reproducibility testing under biologically relevant conditions.
Before my PhD, I led quality assurance and new product development for nano-structured steel under ISO 9001 and GMP. I'm seeking sensor, assay or diagnostics R&D work in an English-speaking European team.
