Computer information systems student focused on cybersecurity, using Excel, Wireshark, and Java to solve problems.
What I'm looking for
I’m an ambitious student majoring in computer information systems with a concentration in cybersecurity. Through my classes, I’ve learned how to use tools like Microsoft Excel, Wireshark, and Java.
I’ve always had an interest in programming languages because I enjoy learning how and why computers can do what they do by reading programs that humans write. Outside of school, I keep learning in my free time and focus on troubleshooting issues I’ve had and ones I might face in the future.
Alongside my studies, I’ve taken on leadership in fast-paced, customer-facing roles. As a student manager, I worked with students to assign tasks based on preference, documented attendance and shift changes, assumed a leadership position to help others, and collaborated with upper management and other student managers so operations run smoothly.
I also bring a service mindset from hands-on work in food service—supporting food safety, efficient operations, and clear communication. I’m motivated by continuous learning, and I’m looking for opportunities where I can apply my problem-solving drive to cybersecurity and technology work.
