I am a highly skilled software engineer with a strong background in computer science. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Nazarbayev University in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. My coursework included Algorithms & Data Structures, Operating Systems, Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, and Databases.

I have experience working as a Software Engineer at Booking.com in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where I am currently employed. In my role, I work in the value merchandising team as a backend developer. I am responsible for the price breakdown of hotel bookings and merchandising additional values to users during the booking process. I have expertise in Java Spring Boot, Perl, and Hibernate. I have also mentored junior developers and implemented A/B experiments that resulted in profit gains for the company. Additionally, I have improved gitlab CI/CD pipelines and participated in architecture review and refactoring projects.

Prior to my current position, I worked as a Software Engineer Contractor through Akvelon at Microsoft in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. In this role, I worked on the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP system in the Runtime and Availability team. I developed a C++ kernel for the project and investigated and fixed bugs related to database connections and data export to Excel. I also increased unit test coverage and fixed flaky tests. My experience also includes working as a Software Engineer at Kazdream Technologies, where I developed a desktop application for compliance officer's analysis. I implemented microservices and established asynchronous communication between them using RabbitMQ. I integrated multiple web services and wrote asynchronous and parallel scrapers.

During my internship at Relive, I was part of a startup project for a medicine clinic. I achieved high maintainability and flexibility of the project by applying clean architecture and MVC design pattern. I developed and normalized a complex relational database and optimized server calls to improve performance.
