I’m a Senior Confluent Cloud & Kafka specialist and Cloud/Data Architecture leader with 25+ years of Fortune 500 impact, including 4+ years hands-on at Raymond James designing enterprise-grade Confluent Cloud platforms on AWS. I’ve built greenfield network architecture, Kafka Connect farms, multi-region DR, Schema Registry, Flink SQL, and end-to-end security, monitoring, and observability.
At Raymond James, I drove firm-wide adoption by leading enterprise POCs and architecture approvals, deploying Confluent Cloud across Dev/QA/Prod with secure private-network access. I migrated self-managed connectors to fully-managed Confluent Cloud, delivered streaming pipelines supporting 200M+ rows/business day, and implemented IaC with Terraform and Open Tofu for repeatable, auditable deployments—while serving as the internal Kafka subject matter expert for topic strategy and connector design.
