I'm a Senior Front-End Engineer with 9+ years of experience turning ambiguous, high-stakes problems into shipped Angular products, with 8.5+ years of hands-on Angular experience and 5+ years leading frontend development. My work includes the R&D and end-to-end implementation of a company-patented OCR feature, and sole ownership of a live banking integration for a UK financial services client.

My work spans architecting greenfield builds, modernizing legacy systems, frontend architecture and performance optimization. Early in my career, I picked up a legacy AngularJS app — progressively rewrote it into modern Angular, and re-architected its module structure to cut bundle size 82% — from 23 MB to 4.23 MB, bringing a bloated app under the mobile-performance threshold. On the banking side, I built a compliance-conscious registration flow and a feature-flag system that let the product owner control live releases without engineering involvement.

I've also independently researched, architected and shipped a Canvas-based Bounding Box capability for targeted OCR extraction, reducing Average Handling Time for image documents from 26 to 11.5 minutes (56%). The innovation became the technical basis for a company-filed patent.

Beyond the code, I mentor engineers from onboarding through independent ownership, lead frontend development, and collaborate directly with business stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into shippable products. I've also leaned into AI-augmented workflows (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to accelerate testing, debugging, documentation and development workflows while retaining ownership of architecture and technical decisions.
