At Persistent Systems, I lead vulnerability management for Cloudera Manager, coordinating a team of three engineers through assessment, prioritisation, remediation, mitigation and validation.
I analyze CVE impact, manage Seal Security patches and GitHub Dependabot recommendations, and review open-source dependencies with Mend (WhiteSource). I also coordinate fixes across branches and releases and discuss remediation plans directly with Cloudera customers.
For IBM Product Master, I led the JDK 8 to JDK 17 migration and managed vulnerability findings across containerised and on-premise applications. I worked with Mend, AppScan and SonarQube to support secure releases.
Earlier, I worked as a Java Developer at JP Morgan Chase (via Collabera) and Ness Technologies, and as a Software Engineer at JK Technosoft. I use GitHub Copilot and Cursor AI to support code analysis, dependency upgrades and vulnerability remediation.
