Abdussamad Nura

I’m a vibrant Economist and researcher who enjoys teaching, leadership, and community development. I bring an entrepreneurial mindset and “more than 5 year work experience,” along with a strong drive for educational and political/community contributions.

In academic settings, I’ve worked as an Academic counsellor at Nims University Jaipur (2024 - 2025) and supported student initiatives through my Internship with the Association of African Students in India (AASI) in Jaipur (2023-2024). I also served in student leadership roles, including Treasurer of AASI (Jaipur) and a Screening Officer role in the Elcom Committee (2020-2021).

Academically, I’m pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Economics) at Gokul Global University (2024 - Date) and previously completed my Masters of Science (Economic) at Nims University (2022-2024) and Bachelor of Science (Economics) at Al-Qalam University (2017-2021). My research and training include presenting “Assessing the Influence of Fiscal Policies in Alleviating Unemployment In Nigeria’s Economic Setting” and building analytics capability through workshops on Data Analytics using Power BI and SQL.
