Abdualziz Alqasmi

I am a cybersecurity graduate certified in CEH with hands-on experience in penetration testing, incident response, and AI-driven threat detection. I completed CCNA practical training and have practical knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and SOC operations.

During my studies I worked on network optimization projects, diagnosing severe Wi‑Fi issues and proposing improvements, and was selected by a professor as a top student for an incident response case study. I have completed a CCNA-focused practical program that reinforced TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs and access control knowledge.

My final-year project, Al Cyber Shield, combined LSTM, CNN and AraBERT to detect real-time threats, zero-day exploits and Arabic phishing, reflecting my interest in applying AI to cybersecurity. I also built a local SOC simulation platform for log analysis, IOC extraction and MITRE ATT&CK mapping.

I bring practical tool experience with Kali Linux, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wazuh and Splunk, plus soft skills in critical thinking, teamwork, and communication, and I am eager to contribute to a security team focused on proactive threat detection and incident response.
