What I'm looking for

I'm looking for on-site, hybrid, or remote backend engineering work where I can build and release Java microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems.

At VOIS (Vodafone), I build Java 21 and Spring Boot microservices for the M-Pesa Super App, supporting around 100,000 daily transactions across Tanzania, DRC, and Lesotho. I develop payment and telecom APIs, transfer features, authentication, Kafka-driven flows, and production releases across three markets.

Previously, I built Spring Boot and Hibernate services for the Saudi Ministry of Defence's correspondence and transaction-management system. I work across AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, MySQL, security, testing, and production incident resolution.
