Aazan lodhi

I am an MBBS graduate with one year of hands-on house job experience at DHQ Teaching Hospital, Kohat, where I rotated through Cardiology, Medicine, Orthopaedics & Trauma, and General Surgery. I have managed emergency and inpatient care, assisted in elective and trauma surgeries, and performed minor procedures independently.

In orthopaedics I handled firearm injuries, fracture fixation assistance, joint replacements, wound care and rehabilitation planning; I enhanced musculoskeletal assessment and radiograph interpretation skills. In surgery I assisted in appendectomies, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs and laparotomies and provided pre- and post-operative care including performing an open appendectomy under supervision.

In cardiology I managed OPD and IPD cardiovascular patients, participated in early management of acute coronary syndromes, assisted with pharmacological and electrical cardioversions, and observed echocardiography and ECG interpretation. In general medicine I managed chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD and CKD and handled critical emergencies including a diagnosed and managed ventricular fibrillation during an emergency night shift.

I am committed to evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, patient education and medical teaching; I have received recognition including Best House Surgeon (General Surgery) and Best House Officer (Cardiology) and passed OET in 2024. I seek to contribute to quality healthcare delivery and medical education in a reputable institution.
