I am a backend-focused software engineer who builds scalable systems and developer-productivity tools for high-traffic retail platforms.

At Tesco I built a self-serve tool for retail buyers to create and manage pricing policies and contributed to the Price & Promotion team that manages prices for ~2.5M products across 6,000 stores. I am currently leading a POC to design a secure, multi-tenant policy evaluation platform and prototyping a WASM-based policy engine using Wazero.

I lead NFR initiatives and developer productivity efforts: I introduced a central config platform that reduced time-to-market from 3 hours to 5 minutes, developed automation that cut ticket volumes by ~80%, and created a Splunk SLI/SLA dashboard adopted organization-wide. I also optimized CI/CD and builds, using Jib to reduce build times from 15 to 5 minutes and Terraform automation to cut environment provisioning from 6 hours to 30 minutes.

Earlier, as a graduate SDE I optimized Price & Promotion APIs reducing P99 latency from ~500ms to ~200ms, integrated Snyk and Sonar into CI/CD, consolidated Docker images, and cut behavioral test time from 90 to 20 minutes. I look for opportunities to lead technical initiatives, improve reliability, and deliver measurable operational impact.
