At Redteam Hacker Academy, I researched and demonstrated real-world attack techniques and detection methods as part of SOC and cybersecurity training. I also guided trainees through incident detection and response fundamentals using Splunk and SPL.
I designed and deployed a Capture-The-Flag lab simulating a command-injection vulnerability, helping trainees learn exploitation and detection concepts. I also built a controlled endpoint threat detection and response lab to study malicious activity and how security controls identify and respond to it.
For hands-on network monitoring, I deployed and configured Snort IDS to monitor lab traffic and flag suspicious activity. In a separate project, I forwarded Snort logs into Splunk for centralized ingestion, correlation, and alert analysis.
My SOC toolkit includes log analysis, SPL detection queries, alert triage, and case management workflows. I hold the Certified SOC Analyst (CSA) certification and the Certified IT Infrastructure and Cyber SOC Analyst certification; my CEH (Master) is in progress.
