What I'm looking for

I seek a research-focused academic or postdoctoral role combining algebraic research, computational development (GAP/SageMath), teaching, and mentorship in a collaborative university or research group.

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Chiba University who studies how modular representations of finite groups interact with Hopf-algebra structures. I turn deep group-theoretic questions into clean proofs and reproducible code.

I earned a PhD at Tohoku University on modular representations and was a MEXT scholarship recipient. My work includes peer-reviewed publications and a GAP package for computing blocks, and my codebase for decomposition matrices has been adopted by external research groups.

I enjoy teaching and mentoring: I lecture undergraduate and graduate courses, co-supervised a master’s student who later won a JSPS DC1 fellowship, and co-organise the East-Japan Algebra Seminar. I also run problem sessions and volunteer in outreach activities.

I combine theoretical research with computational tools (GAP, SageMath, Magma, Python, Julia) and open-source development to make abstract theory accessible and reproducible. I am motivated to join collaborative academic or research teams that value rigorous mathematics, reproducible computation, and student mentorship.
