Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Web Content Manager to oversee the creation, optimization, and management of our digital content across various platforms. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our online presence and engage our target audience effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business goals and engages target audiences.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the content management system (CMS), ensuring seamless functionality and content updates.
- Oversee content creation, including editorial planning, writing, editing, and publishing, while maintaining brand voice and standards.
- Analyze and report on web traffic, user engagement, and content performance metrics to inform future strategies.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and SEO teams to optimize content for search engines and enhance user experience.
- Conduct regular content audits to ensure all web content is up-to-date, relevant, and compliant with best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of content creators, providing guidance and feedback to foster professional development.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in content management, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Proven track record of developing successful content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices for web content.
- Experience with various CMS platforms, such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar.
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership role, mentoring team members and managing cross-functional projects.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) to assess content performance.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic graphic design skills.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in content management systems (CMS) and web publishing tools.
- Experience with SEO tools and practices to enhance content visibility.
- Familiarity with digital marketing software, such as HubSpot, Marketo, or similar.
