Role Overview

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in Volcanology, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated research expertise in volcanology, including a strong publication record.
- Experience in teaching at the college level, with a commitment to innovative pedagogy.
Preferred:
- Postdoctoral experience in volcanology or a related field.
- Experience using modern geophysical and remote sensing techniques for volcanic monitoring.
- Strong grant writing skills and a history of securing research funding.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
