Role Overview
As a Localization Specialist at [$COMPANY_NAME], you will play a crucial role in adapting our products and content for diverse global markets. Responsibilities

- Utilize CAT tools and manage translation workflows to maintain consistency and quality across all localized content.
- Conduct linguistic quality assurance (LQA) and provide feedback to translators to enhance translation quality and adherence to brand voice.
- Research and analyze local market trends, user behavior, and competitor strategies to inform localization best practices.
- Develop and maintain localization glossaries, style guides, and translation memory systems to streamline future projects.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in localization, translation, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Fluent in English and at least one other language, with exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Strong understanding of localization processes and tools, including CAT tools such as SDL Trados, Memsource, or Smartling.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Experience in the tech industry or with software localization.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and their application to localized content.
- Knowledge of additional languages is highly desirable.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in localization tools and translation management systems.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing platforms.
- Understanding of basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
