Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Manager to lead our nutrition team in delivering evidence-based dietary care to our diverse patient population. This role is pivotal in shaping the clinical nutrition strategy and ensuring outstanding patient outcomes through innovative dietary interventions and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee clinical nutrition programs that align with organizational goals and patient needs
- Lead and mentor a team of registered dietitians, providing guidance on complex clinical cases and professional development
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient dietary needs, developing tailored nutrition care plans based on clinical evidence
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate nutrition into overall patient care and treatment plans
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments to improve quality of care
- Stay abreast of the latest research in clinical nutrition and disseminate findings to the team
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
- 5+ years of experience in clinical nutrition, with a focus on management or leadership roles
- Strong understanding of clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices in nutrition therapy
Preferred:
- Experience with electronic health record systems and nutrition informatics
- Board Certification as a Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP) or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC)
- Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and foster a collaborative environment
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in nutrition assessment tools and clinical software
- Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring technologies
- Ability to analyze clinical data and generate reports to drive decision-making
