Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Supply Chain to join [$COMPANY_NAME]. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to logistics, ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency across our global network. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive supply chain strategy that supports the overall business vision and goals
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning to ensure optimal operational performance
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate contracts and drive cost-saving initiatives
- Utilize data analytics to monitor supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business needs
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through process optimization, lean principles, and innovative supply chain solutions
- Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies in a complex, global environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience with supply chain software and technologies, including ERP systems
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, ISM) is a plus
- Experience in a high-growth or rapidly changing industry
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
- Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and procurement processes
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools to drive informed decision-making

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly
