Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Coordinator to join our logistics team. In this fully remote role, you will play a crucial part in managing the shipping process, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and provide exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of shipping and logistics for outgoing products, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize shipping schedules and resolve any issues
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or complications
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and reduce costs
- Assist in the development and implementation of shipping policies and procedures
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Strong understanding of shipping regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficient in using shipping software and tools for tracking and documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred:
- Experience working with international shipping and customs procedures
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret shipping data
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with shipping software platforms (e.g., ShipStation, UPS WorldShip)
- Knowledge of inventory management and order fulfillment processes
