Role Overview

Responsibilities

- Identify opportunities for process automation and technology enhancements to increase operational efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
- Analyze operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability and excellence, mentoring team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
- Serve as a key stakeholder in product development, providing insights on operational feasibility and customer experience enhancements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding loan operations issues and initiatives.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in loan operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of loan processing, underwriting, and servicing, with a strong focus on compliance and risk management.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
Preferred:
- Experience in a digital lending environment or fintech organization.
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS) and other relevant technologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in loan operations software, including LOS and CRM systems.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and methodologies to drive operational insights.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
