Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Loan Officer Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional lending solutions. In this hybrid role, you will oversee the daily operations of the loan origination process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while driving team performance to meet our ambitious growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of loan officers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Implement and manage workflows that enhance efficiency and improve customer satisfaction throughout the loan process
- Develop and execute strategies for loan production growth, targeting both new and existing markets
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to ensure team goals are met or exceeded
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local lending regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources to drive business
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are well-versed in products, services, and industry trends
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role
- Comprehensive understanding of loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving team performance
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
- Experience with CRM software and loan origination systems
- Strong network within the mortgage and real estate community
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in loan origination systems and related software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for performance tracking and reporting
- Understanding of credit analysis and risk assessment methodologies
