Role Overview
We are looking for a Policyholder Information Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and maintaining accurate records for our valued policyholders. This role is crucial in managing the flow of information and ensuring that our policies are upheld while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Policyholder Information team, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement processes that enhance the accuracy and accessibility of policyholder information
- Supervise team members, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to promote professional growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
- Serve as a point of contact for escalated inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Monitor key performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages team engagement and accountability
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the insurance or financial services industry
- Strong understanding of policyholder information management and regulatory compliance
- Proven track record in leading teams and driving operational excellence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Experience with data management systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Familiarity with insurance industry regulations and compliance standards
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database management tools
- Experience with reporting tools and data analysis software
- Knowledge of insurance policy systems and claims processing software
