Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our esteemed dental practice, where our mission is to provide exceptional dental care to children. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnostics for pediatric patients to assess oral health and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Administer preventive and therapeutic dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and space maintainers
- Educate patients and their families on proper dental hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience and efficient workflow
- Manage dental emergencies and provide immediate care as necessary
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency
- Active dental license in the state of practice
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children and their guardians
Preferred:
- Experience in a pediatric dental practice
- Familiarity with the latest dental technologies and techniques for pediatric care
- Board certification in pediatric dentistry
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in diagnostic and treatment software relevant to pediatric dentistry
- Knowledge of sedation techniques and their application in pediatric patients
- Ability to utilize modern dental equipment and tools to ensure efficient and effective patient care
