Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Payment Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our payment processing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our payment systems, managing vendor relationships, and implementing best practices to facilitate seamless transaction experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the payment operations team in managing daily payment processing activities to ensure timely and accurate transaction settlements.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks within payment processing workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, engineering, and customer support to resolve payment-related issues and improve customer experience.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in payment operations, financial services, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of payment processing systems, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable strategies.
Preferred:
- Experience with payment gateway integrations and e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with fraud prevention measures and risk management strategies within payment processing.
- Relevant certifications in payment operations or financial management.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in payment processing platforms such as Stripe, PayPal, or Adyen.
- Experience with data analytics tools and methodologies to assess payment performance.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards related to payment processing (PCI DSS, GDPR).
