Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial Owner Operator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive industry knowledge to manage operations effectively while driving business growth and maximizing profitability. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and cultivating strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of business operations, including logistics, finance, and client relations, to ensure streamlined processes and optimal performance
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and operational efficiency
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and make data-driven decisions
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards while maintaining high service quality
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and enhance service delivery
- Lead recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a management or operational role within the transportation/logistics industry
- Proven track record of successful business operations management and achieving financial targets
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience with fleet management and optimization strategies
- Familiarity with supply chain management software and technology
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in data analysis tools and business intelligence software
- Strong understanding of logistics and transportation management systems
- Experience with financial management and budgeting tools
