Role Overview

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic plans for fleet maintenance, ensuring all vehicles are compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
- Oversee driver onboarding, training, and performance evaluations, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Collaborate with logistics and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining excellent service levels.
- Analyze fleet performance metrics and develop actionable insights to drive improvements in operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain high safety standards.
- Manage vendor relationships for maintenance, repairs, and leasing, negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of managing OTR fleet operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with fleet management software and telematics systems.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
