Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Operational Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the identification, assessment, and management of operational risks across the organization. You will work closely with senior analysts to develop insights that drive risk mitigation strategies and contribute to a culture of risk awareness.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of operational risk assessments and control evaluations across various departments
- Support the development of risk reporting, monitoring, and analysis to track key risk indicators (KRIs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential operational risks and recommend appropriate controls
- Participate in the documentation and maintenance of risk management policies and procedures
- Help prepare presentations and reports for senior management on operational risk trends and findings
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management processes and frameworks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related field
- Basic understanding of operational risk concepts and frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with risk management software or tools
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to operational risk
- Internship or coursework related to risk analysis or compliance
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and analytical techniques
