Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Offbearer to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our production processes. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials and products, ensuring timely offloading, and maintaining quality standards throughout the production cycle.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the offloading of products from production lines to ensure efficiency and quality control
- Collaborate with production teams to coordinate the timely delivery of materials
- Implement best practices for offloading processes to minimize waste and improve throughput
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and materials to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of offloading activities and provide reports to management as needed
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting
Preferred:
- Experience working with production machinery or equipment
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting
- Understanding of production workflows and processes
