Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Analyst Manager to lead our analytical team and drive insights that optimize our mortgage operations. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics to enhance decision-making processes and improve overall efficiency within our mortgage portfolio management.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of mortgage analysts, ensuring effective analysis and reporting of mortgage performance metrics
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize loan underwriting, risk assessment, and pricing models
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Oversee the design and maintenance of reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support strategic initiatives
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for analytical team members
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices are maintained
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage analysis or risk management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, R, or Python, and experience with data visualization software
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, pricing, and risk analysis methodologies
Preferred:
- Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM)
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with mortgage origination systems and reporting tools
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques
