Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Master Metal Crafts Artist to join our innovative team. Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create intricate metal artworks, sculptures, and installations using a variety of metalworking techniques and tools.
- Lead the design process from initial sketches to finished pieces, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand aesthetics.
- Mentor and guide junior metal artists, sharing your knowledge of advanced techniques and best practices in metal craftsmanship.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to create pieces that enhance our brand narrative.
- Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and materials to continuously innovate and push artistic boundaries.
- Manage project timelines and budgets while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in metal arts, with a strong portfolio showcasing your artistic range and technical proficiency.
- Expertise in various metalworking techniques, including welding, forging, casting, and finishing.
- Strong understanding of design principles and the ability to translate concepts into tangible artworks.
- Proficiency in using metalworking tools and machinery safely and effectively.
Preferred:
- Experience in leading workshops or teaching metal arts to others.
- Familiarity with sustainable practices and materials in metalcraft.
- Ability to work with mixed media and integrate other artistic elements into metal works.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of metal properties and behavior during various crafting processes.
- Experience with design software such as CAD or similar tools for creating and visualizing metal designs.
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in metalworking environments.
