Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Logistics Engineering to lead our logistics engineering team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in logistics engineering or supply chain management with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, systems, and technologies, including warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and process optimization.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead complex initiatives from conception to execution.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience implementing logistics technology solutions, including automation and robotics.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CLTD).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems, including ERP, WMS, and TMS.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with simulation tools for logistics modeling and process improvement.
