Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Loan Servicing Specialist to join our dynamic Loan Servicing team. In this role, you will support the management of loan accounts while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will gain valuable experience in loan servicing processes and contribute to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing of loan applications and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain loan records and ensure timely updates to client information in the servicing system
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide thorough explanations regarding loan terms, payment schedules, and account status
- Support the preparation of loan reports and assist in the reconciliation of accounts
- Collaborate with senior team members to assist in resolving discrepancies and enhancing servicing processes
- Stay informed about industry regulations and company policies to ensure compliance in all loan servicing activities
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Preferred:
- Experience in the financial services industry or knowledge of loan products
- Familiarity with loan servicing software or databases
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Basic understanding of loan servicing processes and terminology
- Experience with CRM systems and database management
- Proficiency in data entry and report generation
