Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Assistant Lending Manager to join our dynamic lending team. In this role, you will support the lending process, ensuring compliance with regulations while providing exceptional service to our clients. You will play a key role in assessing loan applications, managing documentation, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our lending operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation of loan applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Collaborate with the Lending Manager to develop and implement lending strategies that meet business objectives.
- Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments to inform lending decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lending regulations and compliance requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Support the development of training materials and resources for new team members.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management review.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a lending, banking, or financial services role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Experience working with loan origination software.
- Knowledge of current lending regulations and compliance standards.
- Certification in lending or mortgage origination (e.g., NMLS).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis and modeling tools.
- Familiarity with database management and CRM software.
- Experience with digital lending platforms preferred.
