Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Judicial Law Clerk to support the judicial decision-making process through extensive legal research, drafting, and analysis. This role is critical in assisting judges with case preparation and providing insightful recommendations based on thorough understanding of legal principles and statutory frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using various resources, including case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents.
- Draft judicial opinions, memoranda, and orders that articulate legal reasoning and decisions effectively.
- Assist in the preparation for oral arguments by compiling relevant legal documents and summarizing case histories.

- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and documentation.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Strong academic record with a focus on legal research and writing.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to distill complex legal issues into concise summaries.
- Demonstrated proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
Preferred:
- Prior experience as a law clerk or intern in a legal setting, preferably within the judicial system.
- Familiarity with court procedures and protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in legal research software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel for drafting and data management.
