Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of School to lead our educational institution in creating an engaging, innovative, and inclusive learning environment. The Head of School will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, ensuring academic excellence, fostering community relationships, and promoting the unique values of our institution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic vision that aligns with the mission and goals of the school
- Oversee academic programs, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained
- Lead faculty and staff recruitment, professional development, and performance evaluation processes
- Engage with parents, students, and the wider community to foster collaborative relationships and promote school initiatives
- Manage the school's budget, resources, and facilities to ensure operational efficiency
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for the school, effectively communicating its mission, values, and achievements
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and accreditation standards
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Education, Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in educational leadership, preferably in a K-12 setting
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional practices
- Proven track record in building and maintaining effective teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Doctorate in Education or related field
- Experience with technology integration in educational settings
- Demonstrated success in community engagement and partnership development
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in educational management software and data analysis tools
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and digital education resources
- Ability to leverage technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences
