Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Director of Investment Accounting to lead our investment accounting team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in investment accounting or financial reporting, with a strong understanding of investment vehicles and associated accounting principles
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams and drive results in a dynamic environment
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Preferred:
- CPA or CFA designation preferred
- Experience with investment management systems and financial software
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to a variety of stakeholders
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in financial accounting software and ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
