Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Instructional Aide to support educators in delivering high-quality instruction and fostering an engaging learning environment. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with teaching staff to enhance curriculum delivery, provide individualized support to students, and help implement best practices in instructional methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective instructional strategies that cater to diverse student needs.
- Provide direct support to students, facilitating both individual and group learning experiences to enhance understanding of core concepts.
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of student progress, helping to identify areas for improvement and tailoring support accordingly.
- Lead small group sessions and provide targeted interventions to reinforce learning objectives.
- Maintain an organized and conducive learning environment, ensuring all materials and resources are readily available.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills and contribute to the educational community.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support a collaborative educational environment.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an instructional support role within an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of instructional methodologies and student assessment techniques.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with educators and support staff to enhance student learning.
Preferred:
- Experience working with diverse student populations and understanding of inclusive education practices.
- Certification as a teaching assistant or similar credentials.
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom to enhance learning outcomes.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in educational software and tools that support instructional delivery and student assessment.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and online educational resources.
- Basic understanding of data analysis techniques to monitor and report on student progress.
